Society of St. Vincent De Paul (SVDP)

SVDP assists people within our parish boundaries in need of food, utility and rental assistance, medicine, housing and miscellaneous services. We are funded, to a great extent, by the generous contributions of our parishioners. If you would like to assist this ministry, call our hotline at 636-459-1962.

During the Advent season as we prepare to receive the coming of our Lord at Christmas we have the opportunity to show God’s love in giving to others through the Giving Tree Program hosted by SCB St. Vincent de Paul. Parishioners are invited to adopt a family, adopt a child, or pick ornaments off the giving trees in the vestibule of Church.  Details will be listed in the bulletin during the Advent Season.  Donate Here.  Contact the committee by emailing borromeogivingtree@gmail.com. 

Our youth St. Vincent de Paul group, known as Mini Vinnies, is made up of 7th and 8th graders who attend St. Charles Borromeo School  The Mini Vinnies have 5 major projects.  During the school year they serve at the Salvation Army Soup Kitchen, volunteer at the St. Louis Area FoodBank, host a Halloween party for the Crisis Nursery, assist the Big Vinnies, and implement the Backpack Program.  The MVs' Backpack Program provides weekend meals for kiddos in the Orchard Farm School District.  Please contact the school office or email pjwagner715@gmail.com if you have questions or would like to support the Mini Vinnies.
